The red carpet was out in the courtyard of the Chelsea College of Art and Design and the paparazzi were buzzing around the Tate Britain; that could only mean one thing, the Burberry Prorsum show was minutes away. Backstage, svelte PR girls dressed in black were buzzing around as Christopher Bailey remained calm at the helm of all the pre-show clamor. Hairstylists and makeup artists were adding their finishing touches, as models ate finger foods and sipped on light drinks to keep cognizant of the surrounding media. Nina Porter was flitting around like a bubbly sprite while Mirte Maas was all smiles for the cameras. Jourdan Dunn was cool and collected, typing away on her BlackBerry, as Grazia cameras were interviewing hairstylists in the middle of blow drying another model’s hair. Needless to say, everyone was engaged in their part of the process, but there was still a surprising sense of calmness to the environment.

However, once the show was minutes away from beginning, the rush  became extremely pertinent; camera flashes were abuzz and PR girls were running, not walking, to make sure all was in place.
