BEIRENDONCK x CHRIS&TIBOR.

If you are not familiar with Walter Van Beirendonck’s work, the latest collection might have been a big surprise. However, Fall 2010 was the time for the 53-year old artist to reminisce about his childhood. Big headgear that remind us of Katamari Damacy. Check. Pop-coloured shirts and pants. Check. Canvas weapons and animals attached to garments. Check. But perhaps the most surprising part was the collaboration between Beirendonck and London-based fashion brand Chris&Tibor. The collection was complemented with 3D-shaped words such as Fire, Fly, and the letter W on utility belts, pack bags, and messenger bags. With the accessories, the colourful collection was only more collection, giving out an energetic and merry vibe.
