Pellegrino, the Italian leader of sparkling water, has come up with a brilliant collaboration with Missoni. The Italian knitwear powerhouse has put their own spin on the classic Pellegrino bottle design with chevron zigzag prints, an iconic staple for the house. The packaging comes complete with a Missoni knit bottle cover accented by a Pellegrino drawstring with two bright red stars.

The bottles are exclusive and extremely limited; a true fashion collectible. They are currently on display at Missoni boutiques and will be available to the public on September 10th as promotion for Fashions Night Out! Awhile ago, Dior introduced the new ‘La Mini D Watch,’ which keeps showing up in different options. From the ‘Snow Set’-a version that comes in white gold with diamonds all over – to a more casual version with a beautiful leather strap with only one row of diamonds.

Our suggestion would be to wear two at the same time – not that most of our bank accounts would allows us to, but it’s a nice vision. Either way, keep your eye for the Mini D Watch as it’s set to become a must-have hit no matter which season we’re in.

With the advent of Fall/Winter collections hitting stores, Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCullough and Lazaro Hernandez release a film entited “Act Da Fool” by director/writer Harmony Korine. Their first short film corresponding to a collection, Proenza Schouler was inspired by the art of Christopher Wool and Harmony Korine’s cult classic film, Kids.

“Act Da Fool” portrays a group of rebellious teenage girls living life in a barren suburban town, with only themselves and the thought of hope to rely on. With scenes of girls spray-painting  dumpsters and drinking 40 oz beers, Korine paints a commentary of a girl who is fearless and independent, albeit contemplative about life and what it holds for her. A chance to see Proenza’s clothes in motion and on girls of different shapes and sizes provides a refreshing image on the wearability of their clothes.

Barbara Bui exudes an air of modern sophistication with her F/W 2010 collection.  With beautiful fur-collared jackets to  leather boots that range from fur-lined to thigh high, the collection is sure to strike a chord with women who enjoy feeling super sexy and confident.  Whether you like showing some skin or leaving it up to the imagination, Barbara Bui’s collection has a piece just for you.

I must say, it’s quite a feat to portray a woman who is not only strong, but provocative as well.  Luckily for us, Barbara Bui pulls this off with ease and skill, garnering quite a following of devoted fashionistas.

H&M has struck gold with another winning designer collaboration. The Swedish brand has officially released information stating that their newest high fashion, budget conscious line will be under the creative direction of the forward thinking designers of the moment, Alber Elbaz and Lucas Ossendrijver.

Praised for their trend-setting, innovative, yet wearable work at Lanvin, the designers plan to include both menswear and womenswear in their most recent endeavor. This combination has the fashion world and masses alike eagerly waiting the release of the collection done by video stream, set to premiere on November 2nd. Getting a cyber taste of the collection will leave time for a build up, to another explosive launch on November 23rd. Stay tuned! – Cavanaugh Cutler

H&M is collaborating with yet another designer… but with who? That’s the question.

A couple of videos have been released on YouTube and rumors have been flying around about the identity of the designer (or designers) ever since. One of the possible big names is said to be Alber Elbaz, who would be a perfect fit after my other heroes Karl Lagerfeld and Viktor&Rolf who worked together with the Swedish brand in 2004 and 2006, respectively.

H&M will reveal who the designers are on the 9th of September. Until then, we can only speculate. Carolina Herrera,  Christopher Bailey, Frida Giannini, Rick Owens, Tomas Maier and Vivienne Westwood are just a handful of designers speculated to be working on this collaboration. High on my list of favorites is Stella McCartney’s designs for this Fall. The graphic and time-less pieces came in white, camel, and black. Screaming to be bought and worn by stylish women, as well as daring men. Stella McCartney presented wearable items that either work with a pair of narrow-ending trousers or bare and sexy legs.

During the show, I didn’t notice any accessories, which brings the attention to the line-play of the minimal pieces and, of course, personality. For  an up-close look at Stella McCartney’s collection, visit one of her stores around the world or the always-lovely Miss Net-A-Porter.
